Love Notes

Before Sean left for his away rotations he prepared little love notes for me. He hid them in all sorts of places around our apartment so that I would find them over the course of his absence.

Then this morning (even though he has been home for a few weeks now) I found the last one  and decided it was about time I share with you what my amazing husband did to lessen the sting of being with out him for 3 months.

I found his notes in places such as my pants pocket, in my wallet, the pocket of my purse and hiding in the drawer that houses my hair products. They were in my jewelry box and tucked in my Sunday shoes. There was one in the egg carton and under the flowers he had brought home earlier. One was under the litter box so it would be discovered when I was cleaning up. They acted as book marks in my school and leisure books, waiting under the remote and inside my socks. The one I found today- in the Band-Aid box!

I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man. I often have to stop and marvel at this life I am living and the joy that has overtaken my soul.

This was a little gesture that was neither requested nor required but because of his thoughtfulness it made a huge difference while he was away.
