Let me tell you something fantastic—something really worth celebrating!
On May 28, 2011 Sean, the brilliant, wonderful man I am married to graduated from Medical School. Now, this is not an easy feat so in honor of such an accomplishment and the essential need to celebrate we put some careful, elaborate and slightly monumental planning into good use!
At the beginning of the school year we decided to save 4 weeks of Sean's vacation time for the end of the year so we could do something special. So, starting on April 22 2010, we both had our last day work! We spent a week doing some packing and organizing for our impending move in a month. Then moved to packing suitcases for the
It started by boarding a plane in gloomy rain soaked Ohio and then deplaning in sunny Florida! This is where we met up with our fun-celebrating buddies Sam and Jami, they joined us for this fun adventure!
We grabbed some dinner at Giordano’s pizza which should really be called Giordano’s lasagna pizza. “Pizza” was a bit misleading for this massive concoction. After that is off to bed. We needed our rest for the fun filled day that was ahead of us. You see, the following morning we would be headed to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, which houses HARRY POTTER WORLD! Or to put it more simply- complete bliss and total happiness!
After two days and two parks it was time to make our way to the Ft. Lauderdale port where our Princess Cruse ship “Crown” would take off. We checked in, found our rooms took a tour of the ship, got our emergency evacuation instruction and then we were off! AMAZING! I would strongly suggest to anyone who has not been a cruise to go on one. We were pampered and taken care of so well. Food was available to us 24 hours a day and we had 3 course meals every night prepared by wonderful chefs. We watched movies under the stars, played mini golf, and basketball and that was just the beginning.
xoxo
